Where is the vin located and i want to know where to find this number. i have a vin that does not match my tittle THE DRIVER DOOR WAS CHANGED so where else do i look. vin on tittle is E14TH51575. CAN ANYONE DECODE THIS ##FOR ME... MY EMAIL IS AB28@COX.NET OR A CALL AT 480-695-9961
That number is for a 64 Econoline van with a 170 engine.
The place to look is on the back crossbraces on the back corners over the tailights inside your van. That will be the original number. The other place is on the lip of your doghouse floor. That you need to unbolt the engine housing and clean the caulking to see the number along the lip of the floor. Those are the two places that the numbers are stamped into the body.
