You posted a Wagon R, well until last year we had THIS model of that car (click there, then on the chevy logo, then Wagon R... ) http://www.tucarro.com/index2.html
Well, that's done it. I have just spent well over two hours exploring a website I found after looking around for more strange vehicles, during which I spotted this one - which best resembles a dragonfly stuck in a quonset hut...
I bet I have half of FTE looking at "Those cute little toy cars" in the general automotive discussion area after posting the link to the parent website in there!

Actually, most of those are motorcycles, 3 wheeled ones... The one sold by Vespa was a very popular vehicle in Venezuela, mostly between ice-cream salesman (of the two major companies present in the country), and some other companies that required moving cargo in the city, those bikes where very practical.
P.S.: And yes... i spent quite some time looking at those links
Wow. i just got done looking at them all, and also at Bellier and Mercedes.
The Smart Micro is being introduced in Canada and I think Australia.
I can picture droves of mini's and Micros hitting the streets in the near future, I was planning on getting a motorcycle myself, but it rains fairly often here.

I am not sure about Canada, but it isn't made in Australia.
I know it is made in Germany though...
Something that bothers me about the Smart is that to my way of thinking it ain't a true micro car. It has the small size, yes. But the technology and the price of it!
Real micro's and mini's should be as basic as possible, it's a big part of their charm.

The problem is that trend has become a "fashion statement" in Europe, losing itīs basic quality, wich was to be an economic yet comfortable transport, They way i see it, technology isnīt a problem, an over-inflated price tag is.
