'99 SC Wipers come on by themselves FIX!

I got tired of the "courtesy" wipes on my truck so I tore into the switch last weekend. Apparantly I fixed it because I've not had a single uncommanded wiper movement in over 300 miles.

I make pictures, added directions, and posted them to:

http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=4175159&a=31844275&sp=1&showall=true

Let me know what you think.

No, I did not remove the battery cable. With the ignition off and the key removed there is no power to this circuit.

But, if it makes someone feel better, then go ahead, remove the battery cable. Frankly that will take longer than this simple fix.

I was just kinda kidding, cause your procedure looks like something out of an official Ford shop procedure, and they always start with "disconnect battery cable...."

Once again good job and thanks for sharing the info!

Yes, it is! But . . . I don't use the truck very often. I bet I'll put less than 4,000 miles a year on it. After about 800 miles the problem is still fixed.
