What wire to tap into for a tach?

What wire to tap into for a tach?

I have 1997 F150, what wire do I tap into for the tach reading?

hmmm..


there's a pink/white wire in the dash you can use for the signal, inside the cluster.

there's also an easier to access pin #48 in the ecu.

either way it'll be innaccurate, you've gotta get a tach adapter (from somewhere like summit) for 50 bucks or so to get it really accurate
