Newbie "Power" Question - 2002 HD F150
I just picked up a 2002 HD F150 w/ Supercharger. It has 60k miles... The truck seems to have a very quick engine response when it is moving, but from a dead stop it won't spin the tires when I floor it. Is this normal? It does take off quickly... Is there some sort of anti-slip rear end or do I have a problem? My older F150 with a 4.6 spun the tires accidentally all the time...

Depends,
I found the lightning to be easily able to melt the tires...
I've never driven a HD, but with sticky rubber, a tight limited slip rear end, and good pavement, I could see it not spinning off the line. If you stabbed the throttle vs smoothly going to WOT, you'd have more of a chance.
The lightning's auto tranny is setup a little stiffer, so more abrupt power is sent to the rear wheels. The HD is a little smoother, so that power transfer is going to be softer/smoother, making it "difficult" to spin the rear tires.
