wont start when hot out help please!!!

my 96 explorer with the v-6 wont start if its above 85 deg, but if i spray starting fluid in it, it will, i have 28 pounds of fuel press is my fuel pump week??? or is it vapor locking??

When you turn the key to the 'on' position, do you hear the pump run for a few seconds? If not, then you have a fuel delivery issue. This could be the fuel pump relay which is an easy fix. Did you measure the fuel pump pressure at the schrader valve?

yes i did, I have 28 pounds at the rails, where is the realay??? when its below 85 deg it is fine

Thank you sooooooooooooooo much, it was the fuel pump!!! I just put one in
