The scoop isn't functional, it's real easy to make it functional remove the scoop and pull the blank out. Maybe one day I'll make the duct work to make it functional, (a winter project). The scoop is made for a 1999-2001 Mustang GT

How about a close up of the scoop and where did you get it?

I was thinking about making a custom scoop out of fiberglass for my Bronco. But cutting a hole and dropping one in would be much easier. I thought making a collection pan with a K&N filter about twice as big as stock, would work really nice, and sit right above the TB. If anyone has done something like that, let us know please. I'm worried about water getting in something like that, although a screen with some run-off tubes might do the trick.

The scoop is made for a 1999-2001 Mustang GT. I bought it from Ford about 4yrs. ago for my F150 it finally ended up on my Bronco. If you keep the blockoff plate in the scoop you will have to modify the blockoff to fit the shape of the Bronco hood. Where I have the scoop mounted every bolt hole ended up inside the frame for the hood. I had to go to Sears and buy a
1 3/8" hole saw to be able to put nuts washers on the studs.
