Questions about performance parts
I'm thinking about doing some modifications to my 2000 Lightning. I already have a flowmaster exhaust and i'm just looking to get some more power quickly and easily. i've been told that a computer programmer, air intake, and pullies are the way to go to get power easy. Any suggestions about what to do or what products to buy would help alot. Thanks

I just did what you are wanting to do to your truck.I have a 2000 lightning I just bought in April. I think If you have the money there is a good combo package at RPM performance. I found the site after I bought parts one at a time. You will save hundred dollars or more buying the combo package.I have k&n kit, 4 pound lower pully,
glass packs, and Superchips tune.I got 13.56 at 102 mph in the 1/4 mile.

Here's some info about the company Milwaukee recommended....
First, look at the number and frequency of complaints they have with the BBB:

Next... here's a look at some at some of the people who got burned:

I suggest you stick with any of this site's sponsors. If you're going to be at the FTE National Rally next week MotorHaven.com will have boost pulley's at a huge discount, and tuners as well.

I have gotten stuff from them too. (Motor Heaven ) but when I wanted to change my lower pulley they didnt have the belt for it. And when I asked what size it was he couldnt tell me. I got a Super Chips tuner from them (MH). With no Problems. For RPM they sent me parts with no problems. I am sorry if I am not allowed to suggest other web sites. If that is true.I will not .I think every store has complants some more than others. I had no problems with them. But this is the day of the internet so it is good that the buyers beware.
