HI,

How hard is it to replace the cruise control switch on the master cylinder that is suspect to all the fires?

What all is involved?

Go to the Ford dealer and buy the new switch. The old one is located on the front top of the master cylinder and has a wire pluged into it. Unplug the wire and take a crescent wrench and turn the old one counter clockwise to get it off, than screw the new one in, dont tighten too much. The wire harness that comes with the new one plugs into the switch on one end and the other end plugs into the old plug that used to plug into the switch. The total process takes about 5 mins. and you can sleep better at night. Good Luck.

 

Been to the dealer, installed part. Just as you said, easy 5 minute job.
