VIN tag decoding
Hi,
I haven't been on here for a very long time because of other projects, work life etc.... but, I finally dragged the Milk truck home the other day and now I would like to figure out what I have here. If anyone can decode my vin I would thank you immensely. Here goes: S/N F3D2HM14252. I know about nothing when it comes to these old Fords but this looks like it could be a very cool vehicle someday. Thanks
Dave

F3 = F3
D = ??? Supposed to be the engine, H for 226 cid 6 cylinder or R for the 239 CID V8
(Not sure what the D indicates)
2 = 1952
HM = Built in Highland PArk, MI
14252 = Sequence #
Check out the Bonusbuilt site for more information on the truck. It's where I got my information. There are other decoding sites as well I just don't have them handy. Good luck. Cool milk truck.
