hey all, just so you know, there was an origional bigfoot model i had when I was a kid, it was the (correct me if Im wrong) 1978. I know we all want stock models, but its all I can think of. Well hope that helped out.
Glad to see there are other fellow modelers here on the site! I just received a 1976 F-350 Ranger XLT truck from a collector on E-bay. Cost me $60, is unassembled and still in the plastic bag There have been quite a few (read: 3-4 a week) 70's trucks and broncos on E-bay lately. Part # is T476. Before I build it, I'm going to try my hand at making a mold of the cab and bed. Really bling it out, custom lift, tires, motor, maybe even some pics when its done. This will be as close as it gets to the real thing for me till I get out of college
I looked up a site from one of the old forums you listed, no dice. Hard to believe they would have a model of a Courier but not a full size. A Courier? Are there any of those still running? I bet somewhere there's a misguided soul looking for a model of his 78 Chevy and all he can find is the Chevy Luv.
It's sad that they don't have models of regular cars and trucks out there. I'll keep looking.
Ford Courier!! ha ha i have one!! it might still run, it did when i parked it, in the woods behind my house. what a neat little truck. all them little trucks of the 70's i think are neat
1976 F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 now 460 powered!
1993 F-250 XLT 4x4 7.3 diesel.stock
1993 Crown Vic 4.6. ex squad car. daily driver
1977 F-100 custom good runnin parts truck
go to LibertyClassics.com they make a 79 2x4 orange and white "HOOTERS" 1/25 die cast metal truck. when you get to the home page click on "Custom inprint" on the bottom left of the page. then click on "View Catalogue" then click on page 5. they custom make stuff.
I believe the customs have to be ordered 500 at a time with logos and color schemes for your business or promotion.
i just bought a 1/24 scale amt plastic model off ebay 1976 f-350 super camper special
im going to build it stock form to match my real 1978 f-350 super camper special.
got the ideal from you guys. thanks ed
Right now there are no plans to do any pickup parts. There just haven't been much sales for the truck stuff and we have been dropping more items than we have been adding new products..

Subject: MODEL KING 1979 FORD PICKUP
with the 1979 Ford pickup coming out soon, will you guy's be makiog a resin front clip to a 1974~ 1977 version for conversion?
I think it will be a big seller, as many 1974~ 1977 Ford truck owners want to make a model of thier trucks! "
So if we all email him and ask that he make the older front clips, he may just do it!
