Just google the word tatoo, then start checkin them out. I have had mine done @ superior skin art in Columbus Georgia. They do good work and as such have gotten alot of this soldiers money. My wife draws them, and then sells them. She has an awesome one drawn for her, so when we get back to the states we are headin back to my spot to get her inked.

PS CAREFUL THEY ARE ADDICTING

I know about the whole addicting thing, this will be my 3rd one. I did a yahoo search but a lot of the sites say you have to be a member. I guess that I'll have to make my own up but I guess that is better in the long run.

Anyone know anything about henna tattoos?

I was just curious about them.

Are they permanent or temporary tattoos?

Yeah thats the one do Dave and Mike still work there? I haven't been there since 99 so I am sure everything has changed. They were "IT" when I was at Benning

I'm pretty sure henna is temporary. It sounds like a good way to try out a design, or scare your parents.

I'm thinking of getting tattooed with the old Ford truck gear and lightning bolt badge, although not on my forehead like the alien in Spaced Invaders.

Just think of something you would like to have inked.

Then go to google.com and do a image search for that. You will see many different types of art work from tatts to paintings.

Henna/Mendhi is temporary but will last quite a while none the less. A few days to a few weeks. Eventually it wears off. Use for "beautifying" in many cultures for sacred and secular reasons.

I have a friend who has been experimenting with henna tats and it has become popular with some as an alternative "tat" method.

If you are in Augusta Georgia, Franklyn Ward of "Brothers Grimm" is an excellent tattooist. Did my Old Norse/Viking armbands a few years back. The designs I made myself based on Viking Art. Never was one for picking something off a wall or a book although I have seen some really nice pieces.

As an artist, this is what I do for a living decorating my husband's weaponry. So who better to design a true "Viking" tat but myself? I have also designed Viking artwork for tattoos on other people as well.
