I'll be there with mine, if no one else pulls through. that's the advantage of being local...

I've got a Rockford Fostgate 9030(I think) HU, Alpine Type S speakers 5 1/4 up front and 5x7 in the back, 2 Pioneer 10" 700w subs in a 2'x1'x1' custom box. They're being ran by a cheapo Rampage 300w amp I got from a friend for free. I just lent them to my little brother, cept he has a 1000w Pioneer amp - man they sound good now. He might buy them so I could get one of those new 12" subs from Pioneer designed especially for trucks.

Maybe a mod can move this thread to the National meet organizing forum now since a sound system has been taken care of ?

I wish I could make it, I had plans to but my manager said I had to work. I would've brought my sound system. It's not pumping a lot of power but I have Eclipse components up front and Eclipse 3-ways in the rear (Bronco II) and right now a Blaupunkt CD-51 MP3/CD HU, with some cheap walmart amp pushing 2 12" Audiobahns but when it's on you can't focus on anything because your eyes are shaking so much. Too bad I won't be there

When I first read this I thought you meant like a loudspeaker type thing, because I have a B-52 Loudspeaker system with 2 satelites and 1 18" sub that's running an un-godly amount of power. It's concert quality if that means anything. Too bad I can't hook that thing up to my truck.. just the speaker cables to each satelite is 00 gauge.

Angry The Day the Music Died

I had a nice stereo in my 73 f250. My wife bought for me for Christmas. It was an Alpine head unit worth about 500.00. I had it about a week and then it was stolen from my truck in my driveway at about 10:00 in the evening. They did more damage to my dash than what the radio was worth. About 1000.00 worth of damage. Thanks and never again. Now its just a boombox from walmart that costs 24.95. If you want it you can have it just ask.

Maybe this can moved to the stereo forum.

This thread was supposed to be for people who could supply a sound system (includes PA system) to the national meet.

Maybe start a sound system thread in the General Conversation forum for discussing stereos ?

Had 2 Peavey SPG5s and 2 SPG2s with about 1800 watts from the 2 amps at the show... filled the whole parking lot with tunes (sometimes a little too much) I had volume set on about 2 to 2 1/2--- but did run her up to about 8 once... just for fun. Rember this lot was meant to hold 900 cars!!! (Side note: Stereo in my truck is 2 alpine 12" z1's with polk audio in the doors and a couple of lanzar amps... it sounds good too.
