Dinner Anyone 9th-15th July

I am doing another invite for a get together dinner. I will be in Anchorage the 9th through morining of the 16th and would like to get together with those that are interested for a dinner and bull sesion.

The last time we meet at Pizza Hut. Ak Bronco and Greytorn were there along with their families.

SO those that are interested speak up. Next week I will pick a place unless someone has a good suggestion. I will probley have my kids with me so keep the in mind when picking places.

I like the hot dog stand at Lowes. Just kidding. Although those are some pretty good hot dogs after the 6 hour drive.

Take care and hope to see some of yall this week on the Chat Room.

Well we have one for now. We could meet at this mexican rest in Eagle River. Kinda in the middle. Cant remember the name of it but ate there a few times while I attended a class at Ft. Rich.

What is the name of that place across from the "Berry Place"? Boy is that a great discrption or what. Its on internation just past the Old Seward. Central open room with alot of ceiling fans and self serve ice cream. Man you got a lot of food for your dollar and the kids loved the all you can eat ice cream.

I think you're describing the Sourdough Mining Company. I enjoy eating there, they have awesome corn fritters and make a mean Caesar salad. Their gift shop across the street (the berry place you're talking about) also has the big "chocolate" waterfall.

Hey we can make it again. We will be in the Soldotna and Kenai area from 1-10 July camping, fishing, digging for clams, etc. We will be back after that for a couple weeks.

Yep its Sourdough Mining Company that I was thinking of. Not sure of the place in Eagle River. Its down on a loop just past Safeway. I know were it is but just cant think of the name. That was the place that I was thinking we could meet. Kinda between Anchorage and Palmer. Unless WilliesSD250 want to drive all the way to Anchorage.

Kim, Mel is due the 12th. It will happen that day due to the insertion of a zipper, if you know what I mean. My mother-in-law will be here the entire time so we, Me and Jared could probley do a dinner between the 13-16th if that is ok.

Sounds good to me. Iron out the details and we will work around it.

I understand about the "zipper". Hope it goes well for all of you!!

It looks like our plans have changed a bit. We decided to go to the drags for the whole 4th weekend, then just go to Fairbanks for a few days to visit our son. It's still 1-10 July that all this is going on.

Let me know when you get the details ironed out.

Thanks,
Kim

Hello all, Making a run from the Valley to the "city" is no big deal for me. If everyone wants to hit the "Mining Co." that's fine (I haven't been there in quite some time, besides it'll be a good excuse to get some chocolate anyway) or the mexican restaraunt in eagle river or ?????. I'm pretty much open to any place, any night, any time.......

Thumbs up

Hey mlb4966, I think I know know the restaraunt you are talking about (my curiosity got the best of me and loked it up on the net.....its Garcia's Cantina isn't it? On Business Park Blvd? Otherwise the only other one in ER is Chepos' and I think that that one is on the main drag....... Chris

Hey Mike:
Sorry I didn't respond right away.
Mike is back. We went to the races for the weekend. I have been working on my truck. I tend to lose track of time when I am working on my truck. Either place is fine with us. Give us a call when you get in.
