Torque!
#2
What year and truck model? Lots of different HP and torque figures depending on if it was in a car or truck. Figures for HP and torque generally are lower as model year goes up ending in the trucks in 1964. 1957 was the peak for HP in the Y block.

1957 was also the first year for the Ford 9 inch rear axle in pickup trucks. Lots of ratios available now for this axle. The older Spicer 44 rear axle came in the F100 in 3.92, 4.27, and 4.09 ratios. Good for pulling a load in their day. Even higher ratios were available in the F250.
