nonEGR intake manifold for 300/6

Anyone know where I can find a pre73 intake manifold for the 300 ? We don't have the smog police in Mississippi, and I'm trying to simplify my 79F100.

Many thanks !

Why not simultaneously upgrade to an Offenhauser manifold?

nonEGR intake manifold for 300/6

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Jan-03 AT 01:52*PM (EST)]If you have the non-egr carb spacer, it will cover over the air injection hole that goes to the exhaust. The exhaust manifold egr hole can be plugged. Why not just pull and plug the vacuum line going to the EGR valve? Here's my rendered carb spacer...didn't come out that good going from tif to gif. I have the non emission set, but won't part them. Shipping would kill the deal though.

At this point it's just a matter of $$$$.
Eventually, I would like to go to the Offy
manifold coupled with a Carter 450AFB. For exhaust I'll run the 2-piece from the EFI engine, along with a single Flowmaster.

I saw your spacer on the other forum, and it looks good.
But you won't part it, even for a Cal Poly grad

I will probably haunt the wrecking yards. I'd like to lower the profile of the Carter YF under the hood, so that I can fabricate an adapter for a larger air cleaner.

Living in Mississippi makes things easier, as we have no smog police.
When last I lived in the Peoples Republic of California, circa 1987,
smog checks weren't required for the northern part of Los Angeles County. I shudder to think what is required now.

Many thanks !

Ponoma (or is it Pomona) or SLO? I live in SLO county so the SMOG Nazis aren't so bad - no Dyno testing here...YET. If your after the spacer, I found one for you:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33550&item=1876383499

The spacer appears to have the extra "ear" to cover over the thermac hole and it has a huge nipple on it for the PCV too.

And, just for the heck of it, here's an 80-up non EGR spacer: http://www.bigblocksix.com/f100swb/carbspacer.jpg
That one is off of an 85 F150 with a non-catalyst(or emissions for that matter) 300.
And, if your wondering why that intake manifold doesn't quite look right, well: http://www.bigblocksix.com/f100swb/hax0redintake.jpg
3 hacked up stock intakes can make a rather nice 3x1 setup...

Could you post those pictures to your user gallery and then re link to them? They are great pictures and I think others would like to see them. The links you have in your post seem to be broken.
