hey with the double roller timing chain can you still use a manual fuel pump?? i just put in the timing set and it looks like you cant use it. i am just curious if anyone else ran into that problem. thanks for the help.

 

I was thinking of the following one. But is the Cloyes True Roller Double Roller a better one. With both of these fit with the standard cover, and dido on the fuel pump question.

I have the Cloyes, but I am running an electric pump. That is by choice. I still have the pump eccentric in the motor, and I did run a mechanical pump for a short period.


That Rollmaster with 9 keys looks like a good timing set. I don't think you will have anything to worry about with that set.

 

Thanks for the replys, I am just putting two parts lists together, a mild rebuid and a hotter rebuild, to determine which why I might want to go. Might even go the 434 storker way with Tim.
