Freestar 4.2 L V6 with a RWD tranny?

I have a 2004 Freestar 4.2L V6 with tranny pulled from a collision vehicle (virtually no mileage). Can someone tell me if I can fit a RWD tranny to this or is it impossible since the engine rotates CCW?

I think they put this engine in the Ranger too.
Engine rotates CCW? far as i know FWD and RWD engines rotate the same way.

The 4R70W, 4R100W, (autos), M50D and the manual tranny behind 4.6 V8s will bolt right in.

Carburetors will not work with any overdrive transmission, unless you are planning on running a GM 700R4 with the Holley conversion.

Look before you leap! I think that the 3.8(9) and the 4.2 in the minivans run the 3.0 bellhousing pattern. They have fwd & rwd blocks. I don't think they make a fwd transaxle to fit the large aod(e) and 4r70(75) block.
