Highboy's?

Thanks to everyone that responded. All the information is much apreciated. I knew mine was a highboy,or hi boy, I just needed to backup my knowledge with your knowledge. I have informed the interested buyer of your reaffirming knowledge of highboys and he is checking with his bank about a loan to buy it.
Thanks once again!

I think all Crew Cab Highboys were built in Canada.

damn, and somebody finds the flaw we all tend to ignore. yes highboys with full time 4 wheel drive had mated transfer cases. i have not ever seen one and would change it if i bought one by accident! i doubt many were made just on the basis that most F250's were work trucks and the fulltimers tended to be directed more toward the casual use market. hawkrod

Highboy's?

hmm..... thats odd my '75 f250 4x4 was born a fulltime (203) and it is divorced just like any other 67-77.5 f250 4x4.

I belive that ANY classic ford truck is cool and the fact if its a highboy or not, or made in Canada does not matter.

Ford trucks rule nomater if factory highboy or not.:7

>Highboy was a factory option- Alberta, are you trying to

Jared you will have to cut the old perches off and weld the new ones on the highboy rearend perches are set the same as a 1 ton truck I did this conversion on my ford in texas when I chunked the rearend just get a good welder to do it The guy that fixed mine was a certifed welder on the pipelines this rearend has been in 3 years now and not one problem his welds looks better than the factory one!!!!

I haven't seen a ford truck yet that didn't have the spings on top. check out the thread "is this a higboy or what" there is a lot of good info on a highboy

I got to agree with Stargazer on this one. I looked at buying a '76 with C-6 and divorced NP-203. Had the factory CV joint on the front driveshaft too.
