05 F250 supercab 4X4 5.4, 12 mpg around town

 

Took a trip over July 4th weekend, with A/C blasting, we got 17mpg going 75mph, on the way back got 18mpg going 70mph, just @ 2000rpms. Usually get around 11-12 around town. Ours is 02 CC 5.4, 3.73LS, 2WD F250. I am pleased with the mileage.

 

10-11 in town, 12-14 mixed, 16-17 highway, 5.4l auto 4.10 gears.

 

o4 f-250 4x4 crew cab short box 5.4 - with the K@N intake, airrade throttle body spacer and a cat back exhaust (basically jsut new mufflers and tips) i get 12.5 to 13.5 mpg city unless im messing off then it is less like 11 to 12, highway is 18 to 19 if i remember right , no towing or carring full loads

 

2002 expedition 5.4ltr 4x4 get 10 in city and 14/15 on highway on long runs.

 

Since there are now two variations of the 5.4L in the Super Duty, why don't you post which model year you want the info for?

 

My E250 van gets around 13 mpg with 16 mpg as its best highway mileage. Its a 04 extended van & I think this is ok for a truck its size.

 

2004 F150 4x4 S/C FX4 5.4 18.5 mpg (80% hwy.and 20% city)

 

2003 F250 SD CC SB 5.4 3.73 14mpg city

 

Sorry, I didnt post what truck either, 04 f350, also over the last 4 tanks of gas I tried a different brand, usually BP gas,switching back and forth , have been getting 1.5-1.7 better mpg, (using the same 87 oct.) switching to Sunoco, Craig
