Car club for someone around 26 years old

My son belongs to a car club with me but it is mostly older members. Retired members for the most part. He would prefere to join a club with members his own age,he's 26. Anybody know of a club in the Los Angeles area that has members in his age bracket? Doesn't want to join a club that has a bunch of hoodlums if you know what I mean.

No. The only ones I know are into imports. My son belongs to one of them. Nice bunch of guys and gals. Nice cars with allot of money from their parents in them. Most of the guys who drive these old trucks are close to the age of their trucks.

I wouldn't mind getting into a club like that too. I'm 27 and actually just picked up a 1955 F100 today. I also own a 1994 Acura Integra so I understand both the import and classic scene. The imports most people are nice but there are alot of kids (like someone said) with parents money, drive to fast and dont know how to drive, or build their cars to look like small airplanes (ie: big wings/gauges everywhere etc)

I've also hung with older people in clubs and they are also cool for the most part. Thing is most are purists, in my opinon. Going to car shows or just meeting people who happen to have older trucks is the only way I've come across other people my age.

Yup it was rolled... I worked my *** of to get a F100 when I got outta H.S. and I did. Got volare front end, 9", 400 CU rebuilt, tilt, VDO gauges, 12v, etc.. it was starting to really shape up and I still had my wheels sitting at my dads house. I was driving at night with a friend when we came to a light. The second it turned yellow the car of old people in front of us stopped. So in a split second I though, "Ok either go through the yellow, or slam on my brakes and hit the people in front of me" So I switched lanes and went through the yellow light. Unfortunately some HS kids tried timing the other light and ran a red. I ended up driving THROUGH the front of their car (ripped off entire front end/engine etc), which make my truck spin, hit a curb flip over, roll until it hit a tree on the driver's side roof.

By some miracle, I crawled out without a scratch. The steering wheel was bent in a U shape around the column, I didn't have a seat belt on which saved my life. When it flipped I somehow was pushed onto the floor in front of the passenger seat. Me and my friend both crawled out without a scratch! Anyways... sucks I lost my truck, but better that then my life.

(insurance said it was both of our faults, I ran a "stale yellow" and they ran a red which 1/2 way through turned green. They went off the statements of people there. The cop also said to me, "Son you are to young to drive hot rods" nice huh)

Wouldn't mind finding one either.

I'm 29 and can't stand imports, gotta 65 Malibu SS, 66 F-250, 66 Mustang, 70 Camero RS, and a Cadillac dually. All the clubs I run into are grumpy old men. Is there anything decent in San Diego? Working on getting a 50 shoebox too

Im 25, married w/kids. Ive been into the import and domestics at one time or another (power is power, i dont care HOW one makes it as long as its there)

I just recently got rid of my 96 Eclipse Turbo AWD GSX and picked up a 73' F-250 with 460. Gotta love it. Anyways id like to find a club or hell even a group of people around here into cars that WASNT into wings/paint/rims and had some sort of maturity level to boot.

Anyways, i live in the Inland Empire, San Bernardino.
