I just put a new 302 ford racing shortblock in my 68 bronco, and after full assembly the oil pressure was running low. After inspection of the heads, there was little oil getting to the rockers...and I found that Ford does not send the shortblock with the inner galley plug intact. So I removed the intake manifold and need to plug the oil galley on the top of the shortblock.
My questions are:
How many oil plugs do I need to fill? Where is it located? Is it a tap in freeze plug, or a screw in threaded plug? What is the size of the plug? I notice other holes in the block, but want to make sure I plug on the one needed. Is there a pdf visual of the process that you could email or know how to source?

Any help would be great.

The bad news is there are oil plugs on the back of the block behind the
flywheel. If I remember right! You may want to post this in the small block
forum also!





P.S the plugs I've dealt with were threaded.
