05 f-250 crew cab 8 inch fabtech lift, all o5 crew cab guys that have lifted their tr
i just installed a 8 inch fabtech lift on a crew cab and an extra 1.75 inch under coil spring, and i have a terrible feeling that my pinion angle is way off. this truck has a 2 piece driveshaft, guy said a 1 piece might help. has anyone that has lifted a 05 superduty crew cab with a 2piece shaft had a terrible noise when going 45 or over, or when you are running 55 and let off? help me guys....

Did you install any carrier bearing shims with the lift? You have to drop that to keep everything lined up. That is the most likely cause of your noise, it's drive line vibration.
A 1 piece drive shaft will likely cause more problems. The longer they are, the harder they are to balance, the more they twist under acceleration, and the more likely you are to damage it by hitting something.
Your lift should have come with these shims or a drop down bracket. If not, take it to a good shop and have them put in some shims to correct your angles. This SHOULD eliminate your problem.
