My brother-in-law is selling a 1968 1/2 ton teal Ford and a 1972 teal 3/4 ton Ford. They where my other brother-in-laws trucks that he was going to restore and make 1 from 2, but he passed away just over a year ago so they are going now. The trucks are located just south of Hubbard on Hwy 65 in central Iowa. They have been partially taken apart. I don't believe there is any drive trains left, just the frames, bodies, axles, etc. They are going to be drug up to the road at the farm and have for sale signs put on them. No idea what they are wanting for them, but I do know they want them gone. They are not parting them out. Whole truck or nothing. Let me know if interested and I can get additional info. for you.

528cid A-headed BBF stroker

And if it sounds familiar well it is. This is my old race engine from monsterbaby.

complete carb to pan. TFS A heads, custom solid roller cam, 13.4:1 compression with custom J&E pistons. Eagle rods, TFS single plane intake and BG king demon 1190 carb.

Block was filled to the water pump holes with hardblok, has a main stud girdle and ARP head studs and main bolts.

rotating assembly was internally balanced.

Also a new set of schoenfeld upright headers.

Bad side, it's been sitting pretty much since I sold it. was only ran 3 race days before he wrecked the truck he put it in. So about 6yrs? he didn't back the valves off so it needs new springs (I wouldn't run it without new springs anyway as on heavy solid roller cams, springs are a consumable item) And probably should just be gone thru with new bearings and rings which I usually did every year anyway. It does still run as he started it on occasion.

Most of you know what this engine is but I can answer questions for you if you want to know and my memory doesn't fail me.

Deal here is, he wrecked the samari he put it in, ended up putting it back into the ranger (which he will also sell as a rolling chassis) and never got around to getting things running. He works construction so busy in the summer and just never got a chance to run it again (personally I think it scared him) BUT now he is going thru a divorce, wifey filed back in Sept and when I ran into him, he asked if I could try and find a buyer, so here it is.

I asked for a price and he really honestly didn't know what to ask so said make an offer. Remember the heads alone are $2500+ and are ported as well as the FRPP roller rockers and jomar stud girdles.

Just so you know I had almost $15k into this motor.

He would be willing to part out the ignition and fuel system from teh truck too AFTER the motor sells or for the right deal it can go with the motor.

I will be selling my 1974 F100 4x4 auto 390 (yes its real). I found it in a barn 5 years ago and have slowly been fixing it up. The body is really straight and fairly rust free. The shift collar broke a month ago and I have bought all new Ford parts to repair it. I almost have it back together after rebuilding the steering column. If a fellow FTE member is interested in my toy let me know. I will be finishing the repairs soon and will be listing it for sale, so if your interested in the truck let me know and I can get you all the details.
As everyone is asking why I am sellling? I need the room back in my garage where it has been sitting for the last 5 years.

Nice looking truck, I should swing up there sometime after work... If you have the repairs done, it won't need the space all the time...

I am hoping to finish the column repairs this weekend. I love the old truck I just need the space in the garage for other toys and projects. Plus I need to redo my driveway and the funds from the truck should push me over the top.

DIYiT is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Looking to buy:
- An F-350 front drive shaft for an E4OD & BW1356 truck, along with a BW1356 F350 front transfer case output yoke (to finish out my Dana 60 swap).
- Super Duty rear "B" code leaf springs

For sale, looking for reasonable offers:
- 460 C6 2wd transmission
- 2wd regular cab, long bed F250 frame, suspension, and fuel tanks
- 88-91 style long bed - has been patched over the wheel wells and the rear corners by the tailgate. The tops of the inner bedside wheel wells are rusted through from the PO storing it upside down
- 2 NIB inner bed sides (to patch above bed) from LMC. I found a better box that didn't need work and used it instead.
- Styleside tailgate. It has the aluminum trim panel with a dent from a trailer jack handle. The entire tailgate is slightly bowed from a large load sliding back into it. It still closed perfectly on my previous bed. It is lined with Hurculiner.
