Painting
I have sold and prefer PPG paints. The body shops and DIY's I sold to liked it for its ease of mixing and application,as well as its excellent color matching when doing spot repairs. For a low priced job you can use "Delstar" which is an enamel with urethane hardner. For a better job you would go with "Deltron" or "Concept". Both are single stage catylized systems which provide better resistance to the harsh enviroment {sun, acid rain,etc.}.For the ultimate finish you can use "DBC 2000" basecoat with "DCU 2021" clearcoat which makes a good 2 stage system. As for priming is concerned,I like the "DP40" epoxy primer because it doubles not only as a surfacer, but also a sealer when thinned accordingly, plus, you can't beat epoxy primer protection!
