56 big window f-100. 312 y-block. removed valve covers and found adjusting nut backed off. There aren't locking nuts on any of the pushrods. has someone changed all these or were some made this way? put lock-tite on all nuts and seems to be okay.

 

there were two type.the ones you have are a jam fit but they sometimes become worn and loosen up.

 

Thank you for the reply and is what i had suspected. I had a 312 with slotted adjusters withlock nuts. Will see if i can get new replacemants. Thanks again
