Is the 351W, the H.O. version? It will have a 17-inch air cleaner, Holley 4160? Carb, and some other etc.

According to the brochure...

It says:

THe 5.8l high output V-8 is the most powerful mid-size v-8 in its class, excellent for handling trailers up to 9300lbs. The free-breathing "holley 4180" 4-barrel carb with large 17" air cleaner and special low back pressure exhaust system, provides outstanding pickup and true-truck performance.

It doesn't list horsepower or torque ratings, I would go to a local Ford Dealership and they should have a book that could tell you...

Hope this helps some!

Compression ratio is 8.3. 5.0 is HP 185 at 3800 Rpm torque is 270 at 2400 rpm.compression ratio is 9.0 Not much differance?

Those ratings on that last link aren't completly correct, but, the 351 HO ratings looke like they are.
For one thing, they're listing the 351 for 82 and older as the W, that's completly wrong...
The numbers for listed for the 2bbl W are actually 351M numbers... The 2bbl W was 160 hp or so(don't have my spec books on hand.)
Actually, about the only ratings that are right for 80-86 are the 351 HO....
Even the 87 carbed 460 rating is wrong... It's 245 hp/385 ft/lbs...
