Emissions - vacuum Diagrams - schematics

Hey there all,
I've got a little time off this summer to work on my 300CID website. I have finally pulled out the emissions books I have for our vintage trucks (& some 80's stuff). If you know your calibration number and want me to post it, I will. I have a number of different years from '73-'79. My plan is to dedicate it all to the L6, but if you need a diagram for your 8 banger I'll see what I can do. Up to '79 the diagrams are diagrams (or drawings) in '79 Ford switched to schematics. I have truck and auto suff. Post back to this thread for inquiries please.
Cheers.

There's a thread from within the past few days that mentions what you need to leave intact. Vacuum to brakes (if you have power brakes), vacuum to tranny( if you have an auto), vacuum to distributor advance, vacuum to PCV. That's about it. You could also leave the vacuum lines intact to the charcoal canister too. I'm not about taking the emissions stuff off- I try to help people put it back on.

Talk about luck! I posted a thread awhile back in the 460 forum asking for help resmogging my motor. Its a 460 in a 78 F250 4x4, and the swapped motor needs to at least visually have whatever smog equipement came factory for the 77/78 year 460 (I've been using a 2x4 78 F250 as reference for the swap). I had responces that ranged from everything to nothing I have a Chiltons book, but it just lists everything available for the decade it covers. Best I can gather is EGR, air pump, no CAT's. Can you confirm, and please send me the diagrams

Thanks

You need to post the calibration number first to be certain which one it is.

I would be interested in the schematic for a 1979 F100 with 302V8. I have found ones that are close, but not exact schematic. The calibration number is 9-54G-R0. Has cat, air pump, canister, etc. Thanks

OK. Done. This site doesn't like posting links, IIRC. So, try this FTE thread that will lead you to my site. Go to emissions->others->9-54G-R0

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=270154

Sorry for the pop-ups (hey, it's free).

Hope it helps. Notice it's the 4th printing. From my experience there's no change in the schematic with different printings other than a part number change for one of the components.

Got it! Super Thanks. I was close but a few mistakes I can correct now, easy enough.
