Hi all
I just got my latest ford truck
my first on duel fuel.
(I owned propane only and gas only before)
the problem i have is i cant get it to stay running on propane unless i keep my foot gently on the gas.
when i go back to gas it is a bitch to start
it is a 1987 f150 with a holley carb on it
all help is appriciated

have you tried adjusting the idle screw on your mixer? most mixers have two adjustment screws, one for idle and one for load. The hard starting when switching back to gas could be due to the float bowl on the carb being empty due to the gas being shutoff while running on propane.

got some of the bugs out of it will take it to a propane specialist shop.
runs like a dream on gas.propane tank has a leak in it so I am trying to run it in propane long enough to empty the tank and then change it out
