Bassani - stock single exit or dual rear exit?
Looking at the Bassani stainless cat-back exhaust systems. Does performance or sound differ between the single stock exit or the dual rear exit systems?
Bx or Quiet Thunder? Kinda confused what the actual difference is between these systems.
Pondering adding some equal length headers as well.

I don't think you will be to pleased with headers not that much gain's less then 15 hp to the rear wheel's .
And for the exhaust side exit is louder and if you run true dual's you will lose bottom end power unless your running 360 rwhp
If you wan't more power try tunner, intake, exhaust, under drive pully's, e-fan's, gear's and if that's still not enough power Charge it

Bx is aluminized tubing with stainless steel welds, and Quiet Thunder is all stainless steel. Single stock will be louder, as well as theoretically perform better (see 2004 Screw's post). Equal lengths are always a great addition. I had the complete bassani setup on my last bronco, and it was an amazing system. I wouldnt hesitate to run it again.

I just put the Bassani single stock on my 5.4 lariat...LOVE it. A bit quieter than the Magnaflow but IMO it has a classier sound. Really opened up the system. It was put in after my AF1 intake.
A friend and myself have virtually identical Lariats and we have always been within 1 truck length on our races. We both have the AF1 intake...but he has Magnaflow exhaust. We are still within 1 truck length, so our performance gains appear to be virtually the same/similar.
He is now wishing he had gotten the Bassani also. Just likes the tone better.
Unless you are looking for loud the Bassani appears to be a great way to go!!

I ENDED UP with S/S. Actually ordered the BX but my local distributor screwed up and acquired the s/s. Gave it to me for BX price.
I tend to drive a lot of highway miles and even going to the office is 35 miles each way. Personally I think not ever getting the exhaust truly heated up is a major rust contributor. So therefore I felt the BX would be fine, especially since the muffler internals are still all S/S either way

I got my s/s stock single from V8Power.com here in So Cal for $335...picked up and installed myself, so no shipping charges.
As far as Harley-style exit the only I have found was Gibson. I actually thought about getting a Magnaflow or Bassani SI/DO and getting the Gibson tails and do a mte up, but it all started to get to be more trouble than I was willing to deal with. Especially since the Gibson was loaded with footnotes given that I have the 36 gal tank, 18" spare and factory hitch.
