Question rear axle vent line

i was walking up to my truck today and saw my rear axle vent line hanging down, it is connected through the brake spliter on the rear axel but i don't know where the other end goes now, i can't see where it should be attached. also at the end of it there is a connector like it should be connected to another hose but i don't see that one. can someone look under their 250 and see where it goes?? i have an 04 250 with the sterling if there would be any differences.

Mine is hooked to a bracket inside the left frame rail just above the rubber bump stop. It too has an angled hose connector on the end. I guess to keep water from going in easily.
