Started to change the oil in my 2004 and guess what?

I went to Walmart to pick up my usual 10 quarts of recommended motorcraft 5W-20 motor oil and two filters for my 04 F150 and my 03 Taurus and guess what? Denied! The whole shelf label was removed and there wasn't anything in the whole store with the word motorcraft on it. I then went to 3 more Walmarts and all of them have cut it from inventory. I had been paying $1.42 a quart for 5W20 semi-synthetic motorcraft oil at Walmart so I call the local dealerships to ask for a 12 quart case pricing and they all said they didn't sell it by the case and it was $3.42 a quart!! Does anyone know if any other discount store like Autozone or Advance that carry motorcraft products? I don't want my old $10 oil changes to turn into $25 oil changes at home. Everytime Walmart has something good going they mess it up.

NAPA has 5w20 blend, supposedly refined by Conoco (same as M/C), but I don't know the price offhand.

Whatever it is, I'll buy there...Walmart doesn't get my business for anything.

I can't verify they have it, but have you tried Target or K-Mart?

Advance here has it for $1.95 a quart. I was paying $1.48 at Wal Mart. I talked to one worker at Wal Mart and he thinks Motorcraft pulled everything because W-M would not let them sell their air filters there.

Well at Walmart it was $1.42, at Autozone it was $2.38, at Advance it was $1.98, and at Ford it was $3.42 a quart. The filter went up in price by $1.00 too. Looks like my oil changes are going up.

I think Ford pulled it from all of them a few months ago. There's nothing special about Motorcraft oil...and to be called a synthetic blend all it needs is 3-4% synthetic..

Just buy any 5W-20 synth blend Castrol, Mobil 5000/7500, Pennzoil etc. Whatever is the cheapest!
