Question Did Any Of You Wvo Experts See Tv Show "trucks" Today???

well just what it says.. they had a special on making your own that was able to be put straight into the tank. it consisted of a few special pumps and tanks for in your garage. made by a company called "freedom fuel", and some testing equipment, methanol and lye...they said it would cost .70 a gallon to brew your own and it was good to go. they then emptied the tank on the "animal truck"(you know the d truck) and then filled it with there fuel. stacey ran it and talked about how much quieter the truck was and how it smelled like french fries. i know there is lots of talk on here about this stuff but never anything like this that ive seen and mixing in methanol. anyway i believe that company has a site freedom fuel . com. i know those brand of trucks are way different than ours but would it be able to be poured straight into a psd tank also?? it didn't take long for someone to catch onto the market... it looks like a cool product..
i couldn't find a picture on the site of the system you get but it tells how it is made. stacey whipped up a batch of 20 gallons in an hour. click here: bio diesel
if you saw the show it was cool if you missed it try to catch a repeat it was very cool!!!! and informative...

Here are some links to making your own home brew biodiesel. They have some info and plans for building your own with old parts like hot water tanks and old vacume pumps.

this man sees the future... and i can't wait for it to get here..! I am SICK TO DEATH of paying these STUPID prices for fuel.. then hearing.."the oil companies posted record profits again this year..." i'll tell ya... i'm gonna take a long hard look at this "brew your own fuel" deal... i'm tired of paying for these guys to live large...

So does having a little fuel plant in your garage void your home fire insurance?

I watched it today. Very interesting. I've been toying with the idea of starting to use veggy oil and I'm going to do it now. Fuel is getting just stupid expensive so this will help out a bunch.

it shouldn't, having that system is probably safer than the 2 - 3 half full gasoline containers most of us have in the garage...

i watched that show... i don't think i burn enough fuel anymore to justify doing it since i live 10 mins from work... but... i am going to find out where i can get some biodiesel and i think i'll try some to see how my mule likes it..!

Guys-
I just got off the phone with a local oil company that offers biodiesel and almost fell off my chair when she told me how much it is a gallon, for B100 its $3.30 and for B20 its $2.35?? I thought it was cheaper to process roughly .70 cents? a gallon? I know thats doing it on your own but holly cow.

$2995 ....I'm sure it will pay for itself...eventually, but does anyone have any info/websites on any other (cheaper) biodiesel kits similar to the Freedom Fuel America one??
