I believe they do have a bigger "higher performance" cam in 'em. Either way, my buddies pickup with the 5.0 sounds nothing like a mustang. I'm not a "huge" fan of flowmasters, but I don't mind 'em. I will say this...they sound 10x better on a Chevy for some odd reason.
As long as they're not really short, like less than 17", I don't mind asspacks.
If I were to true dual mine (which I wouldn't mind) I'd probably try a pair of Purple Hornies...

I have said this a few times.... Any muffler you can think of will sound better on a chev then anything else you put it on. That aside, purple hornies or red hots are probly the best you can get for glasspacks. I have used Cherry bombs and I don't really like them, they pop a bit on decel but I can't for the life of me get them to really snap on hard accell, they are the 29.5" long 2.5" in/out ones on a 400 Dodge.

will the langth alter the pop on glass packs ?? i would like a deep rumble at a stop light .. dont want to desturb the nabors too much in the morning .. but would love to out blair the import with the rap music leveing a light lol im just not too hip on the poping .. i getting ready to place my order real soon full langth hedders . 2/12 inch pipe not shure if its going stright out the back or will curve out like stock (i would like to here "some"of it lol ) and a cross over pipe .. any feed back would be great ... russ

thanks i can pritty much idle out of the nabor hood its the houses on the big road that i feel for .. lol no not really that rude .. just want something tameable but that can also roar if i want it too.. i know its a cake and eat it too .. never understood that eather if its my cake dam tootin im gonna eat it lol
