Stbil/ Octane

STA-BIL/ Octane rating.
This is a great website with a lot of advice from smart people.
I would like some info on how sta-bil affects octane ratings.
Back in my racing days i use to check gas using specific gravity set-up,
but i let it go when i sold my race car.
any whoo. i plan to mix some stabil and gas for a hurricane generator,so
it may be used next week or it could be 3 months. the generator needs all
the help it can get when it is under full load. thanks for any info..dbr
