Pics of my 64 F100...

I finally got a few pictures of the truck put online tonight. Figured what better place to put them than here. So without further ado...

That's what I've got starting out. I figure it could be MUCH worse. I don't really care for that floor shifter though, lots of slop in it and man it can be tough to find first gear sometimes. Otherwise no complaints!!

Looks like you got a nice ride Russ.I would drive it for awhile then decide what you want to do with it.The 223 engine is a nice engine but,it is no hot rod motor.I like my 223 but, parts are getting hard to find.

You have a better start than I had. Drive it awhile and then decide what you want to do. Mine is an everyday driver. So have to do what I can when time alows but it is coming around. Found that it is better to drive awhile then when you second guess yourself you aren't redoing something you have already done. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Looks great. But why didn't the inner fenders and rad support not get painted? I really takes away from the overall effect.

Thanks for all of the kind words, everyone! I've actually not done anything to this truck other than re-attach the tailgate. I bought it in the condition you see in those pictures. The only thing that's "wrong" with it is the fuel pump leaking out from around the little bowl or screw on the bottom. Figure some gasket sealer will fix that right up. Otherwise she runs and drives out fine - although 50-55mph seems to be all the faster she'll run. Maybe that's normal? This is my first older Ford. The door tag shows 3.89 running gear - with the 3spd light duty tranny. But that's the beauty of it all, learning as I go! Thanks again for the warm welcome!
