Side markers

Does anyone know if its possible to make those side markers on our front headlights clear? They are the ones that come on with the parking lights... if you look at my gallery youll see that I already illegally made my turn signals blue, they are white when lit, and I want the outer signals to be clear if possible, thanks fellas.

Hey,

I actually tried to figure that out myself yesterday.. i took out the headlight assembly (only 3 screws) and in order to reach the yellow reflector, the water seal has to be broken around the whole assembly. I still want to change its color so i might ask someone at the dealership for help. if you have a razor and some sealant im sure it can be done at home.

It can be done with a razor to cut through the sealant, but you need to be extremely careful that you don't scratch the lens. The inside of the headlight lens is extremely prone to scratches. You also need to make sure you get a real good seal when you put it back together or you'll end up with the dreaded headlamp fog. Try and do it in a relatively low humidity area too.
