You can buy them at practically any auto parts store, even Wal-Mart.

Can you explain what the in-channel style is and how you put them on?

The in-channel style goes on the inside of the window channel. They either use adhesive tape or little clips. To me they are better then sticking the adhesive tape to the paint on your vehicle plus they are less likely to peel off. They are very easy to install. You can install them on a vehicle in a matter of mins. If you get the kind with the adhesive tape, (in-channel) if I remember correctly you have to leave the windows up for I think it was 24 hours. If you go to any part store and ask for in-channel they should know what your talking about, even online shopping should specify wether they are in-channel or not.

I have installed in-channel Ventshades on both a '92 Explorer and an '02 F-150 Supercrew cab. I was happy with the Ventshades on the Explorer, but not on the '04 Crewcab. The Explorer was noisy already and I didn't really notice any additional noise by adding them. The '04 Supercrew was so quite before adding the Ventshades. Afterwrds, I had a lot more wind noise. I'm not blaming Ventshade. Actually, Ford has done such a superb job of making the cab quiet on the newer F-150 that if you add aftermarket products you may end up with a noisier cab. Having said that, the noise level is probably comparable to my '92 Explorer prior to adding the Ventshades and not that objectionable.
