found a case of 10yr old oil/unopened

I found a case of Qauker State oil....all quarts never opened.. Back when the
quart containers were round. I think the stuff is at least 10 years or older.
I was cleaning out my dad's garage...
What should I do with the stuff? Just dispose of it, or use it?

Use it in an old beater that's older than the oil.

Use it for general lubricating purposes where wd-40 would be too thin and grease too thick.

I think all of those suggestions are good! I'll bet it's older than you think though. I remember the square plastic containers starting to replace the round plastic containers back around 1985. The round plastic containers weren't around very long after they replaced the cardboard and metal type oil cans. In fact they never did completely replace them. At that time you could still find the old style cans.

What is the API rating on the containers? That may give a clue to the age!

If they're cardboard with tin top and bottom, they are collectible, even the empties.

I guess pouring the oil on your overly religous neighbors bush, calling out his name, and lighting it would be out of the question?
Where did that come from.

peppy -- did the preacher say something that annoyed you today? Just kidding!!!

If those cans are some name brand stuff, I'd ebay them. There are lots of idiots out there. If they are off brand, I think I would not even trust them in a lawn mower.

Hey, look at how old the source is, oil is just dinosaur poo and dead plants from the Cretaceous, 65 million years give or take, right?

Quaker State kept the semi round bottles until the mid 90's.
