I recall that the 99-00 had a fuel line that tends to fall of the pump. and thus it doesn't start. you may check there.

Did you look for explosives wired across the ignition? I keep looking for my former bosses picture on the side of a Milk carton
On the post office wall would be nice too!

If you can't fix it I'll come take it off your bosses hands. Please send pictures. Volt meter at the starter to ground will show if there is voltage to the starter. No voltage means a saftey lockout, or bad fuse/relay. Voltage present means new starter.

Sry, I still havn't talked to him. I tried to call him yesterday but he didn't pick up. I know that it was towed, and I know it's now operational, I do honestly intend to update you when I know what the problem was, it's been a long time simply because I havn't found out yet, not because I forgot.

I type so many posts here that I review them all by search, I typically don't miss any threads that I contribute to.

The verdict is in, it was a bad starter.

I knew the starter had power to it w/o even checking, I guess the hammer trick didn't work for this one.
