96 What type of Freon ?

What type of freon came in my 96?

How can I tell if it has been changed over?

The switch to r134a started with the 1995 model year.

Actually it started in '94, but that is just splitting hairs. So yes you have R-134a.

There is suppose to be a sticker under the hood or on the compresser that says what is in it.

134a for '96, that much I'm certain of.
