Towing horses...do you?

Towing horses...do you?
I'm getting a couple more horses here soon to make a total of 3. One horse is only 13.5 hands and the other two are around 16 hands.
I'm looking at a Featherlight 3-horse trailer with a GVW of 7K (plus some change). It should carry all three horses w/ tack with no problem.
Anyone here regularly or even semi-regularly tow that weight with thier 5.4L equipped truck? I'm getting the "itch" to upgrade even before I get the horses and trailer! I need to be talked out of looking at the 05 V10 Crew Cab...
Let me know that the F150 can tow 7K with no real problems...PLEASE!

Ours is not quite that heavy: the trailer is heavier at 3300 lbs (all steel double wall) than that nice Featherlite of yours will be and it's only a 2 horse slant w/ tack, but with our horses and gear bring us up to about 6k lbs in the trailer. We usually have dogs and other gear in the back of the vehicle -- maybe another 500 lbs or so.
This is all behind our 2000 Expedition (5.4), and we tow a lot in the hills. The Expedition can get the job done, so no doubt an F150 would even do better. I'd likely go with a distributing hitch with your kind of weight.
We also have a '99 PSD 4x4 F250, but my wife prefers the turning on the Expedition, so that's what usually gets used. Of course, I certainly wouldn't try to discourage you from a nice new Superduty either! That would be a sweet tow!
good luck!
