Ok the dealership just put 4 new tires on my 04 screw(same type tire)roadforced the tires and put a new rim on because last time they did the roadforce the rim was damaged. The service manager took my truck out after everything was said and done..told me truck rides smooth now.The next day I took it on a road trip and before I hit the next state I called the service manager and told him it did not take care of the steering wheel shimmy. He said on a scale of 1 to 10 i said it was a seven. He said he will call the ford engineer and his local rep and for me to call him on monday. Well he called me today and said he spoke with both individuals on my truck and they told him that there is nothing more Ford will do to ressolve this issue.I was fuming but I kept my cool and after a longgggg talk with my service manager he asked me if I wanted out of the truck. I told him Yes out of MY truck but im not trying to get out of my payment. Well he set up an appointment with some big wig at the dealership and we are gonna talk about taking my truck back with no money out of my pocket.......This could be funnnnnnnn........just wondering if they will buy me dinner before they S#@*# me......lol

I do not think they will buy you dinner.I am very surprised that they are ready to throw in the towel so soon.Usually they do everything they can to try and fix the problem. If you like the truck and want to keep it I would try a different dealership service dept.Good Luck!

Ruckus>>They have done other things like frame dampner, road force the tires twice, realigned the hubs and nothing helped. Well all things consider I LOVE my truck, but anyway I just got back from the dealer. I have an 05 f150 screw coming with more equipment then my 04 screw lariat. The dealership was more then helpful in getting me out of my truck . My payment stayed the same, same terms and everything plus I got a ford bumper to bumper extended warranty 5/75000. The sticker on the new truck was over 41000 I picked it up for 36270 and I got rid of my truck without the headache of trying to go to court...........Thanks for the help guys

Hey redcrew04, you got 6000 off sticker on the 05, but what did they give you for your 04. Did they take your 04 off your hands and you just start over with a new truck? Oh, and how was dinner?
