Well my friendly Ford dealer completed my tranny recall in one day! But now they get it back.....thought it was just residual tranny fluid on the pan....wiped it clean checked it a day later....guess what.....more fluid. Funny about Alaska though...Doesn't take too many guesses to figure out the dealerships...hmmm Kodiak, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Wasilla.....have I forgot to mention someone? It's only been 5000 miles and I've had the tranny work done, the transfer case spring done, the radiator hose clamp done.....what else is next? I have always owned Ford's, but this truck is starting to be a pain. But I will say that the tranny fix did improve the shift response, much firmer and crisper now. But the leak

Lets see did you get a real long snorkle kit. No guess we can rule out Kodiak. SO its either Cal, Nye or Seekins.
Hopefully it will be your last problem. 22,000 so far and trouble free here. Hope it stays that way since my wife and kids now have the truck and I get the Subaru. At least it get 30+ MPG.

Darn, if we arent crossing paths. I suppose you know the answer to this one by now.... Need Your Excursion. Well an update on that drip... Looks like it was just some spillage from refilling the tranny. I have continually checked underneath since and no more leak.....good thing, cause it would have been their mess up and I would have gotten ANOTHER transmission!
