Thumbs up 10 SECOND 1/4 mile BRONCO!

http://www.superford.org/vehicles/registry/showmedia.php?id=202618

This is my girlfriends dads 1979 bronco its got a 598 ford racing motor based of the 460 pushin around 950 horses, but the headers are to restrictive right now, with custom headers he would be around 1200hp! this was his run when we took it to firebird on the 6th of may on a friday night, his best run was 10.74, but the movie link shown above is his 10.94 run... its not striped at all only thing taken out of it was back seat passenger seat and transfer case was taken off.. and has a full roll cage.

10.94 @122 mph. Not bad.

I'd like to see it smoke all four tires!

That is pretty quick for a stock chassis even without the back seat or transfer case. It may be a 1/8 mile track. Looks cool though.

What does that mean? Special treatment of the surface?

I don’t want to brag but my 88 is running good today.

I started the morning with my usual 5 second burn out and then cruised into work doing 145 miles per hour. Man that sure makes the commute a lot quicker. Kinda rough on the tires but I got them on special at the dollar store. Express Oil did a good job on my engine. It’s a 856 cubic inch V9 that pumps out 5000 horsepower.
