1995 E150 351 Removing EGR tube from manifold???

GOT IT! There's no way to loosen the rusty nuts on the EGR tube so I disconnected the EGR valve from the block and managed to remove the exhaust manifold and the EGR tube and valve as one piece.
I guess taking a break on the forum here helped settle my frustration and enabled me to take a fresh look at the situation.........

I agree the best way is to soak with WD40 and apply lots of heat. I have gotten the nuts loose with the heat from a standard propane torch but it did take a while. So here is one other alternative if you can't get enough heat on it.
Once again this isn't the best way to do this job, but it will work. I learned some cheap tricks when I was a kid and I didn't have any money. I'm all grown up now, don't like to spend money! Ford wanted about $80 bucks for my EGR tube.
Cut the tube with a hacksaw in a straight section, where you can work. Splice back together later on the straight section.
Obtain some medium thickness shim stock, I used brass which is real easy to work with. Cut a piece approximately 2 x 6 inches. Wrap the joint up tight and apply two stainless steel hose clamps.
Nothing fancy or pretty but works!
