Door problem on 2002 F-150 SuperCab

I've got a 2002 F-150 SuperCab, that I'm having some trouble with.

First a little back story, about 2 months ago I was rear-ended by a guy doing somewhere between 30 and 50 miles and hour...in a Mercury Cougar. (Keeping it in the family I guess.)

The truck needed a new drivers bed side panel, cab repair, new tailgate, new drivers side rear spring mounts...etc...etc...etc...

Now, I've got an issue of the drivers side door won't close properly, sometimes making contact with the top of the rear door. The rear door is closed, and when I close the main door they will hit at the top. Is this a problem that has shown up on other folks vehicles? Or is this *dreaded* hidden/unfound damage they should have repaired earlier? The paint is chipping where the two doors hit. On the passenger side I see chipped paint, but the doors won't hit.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

This probably isn't the answer you are looking for. In your case, I would just bring the pickup back to the body shop that worked on it. Then have them take care of it.

I'd have to agree with Dilas, take it back. The shop should have some kind of warranty on their work. Sounds like it's an alignment issue with the doors, or the cab could have been "tweaked" due to the impact.

Well, it's the answer I expected...but given the troubles I've had with this repair shop...not the one I was hoping for. Well, I'm taking it in on Tuesday...so we'll see how much they want to fight it.
