dreyer, Welcome to FTE!

Where you located? I know of someone with a hood. Tailgates are not easy to find. Chances are if you are lucky enough to find a rust free gate, it will need dings and dents removed. Also, when looking for gates, make sure you know what size bed the gate came from, the width of 6' is different than a 8'. -4speed

When you say the 6' bed and 8' bed have different size tailgates, do you mean the stepside beds or the styleside beds? I know that stepsides are different but I wanted to be sure that the stylesides are all the same as I have a NOS styleside tailgate that I am hoping to install on my styleside bed and I just want to be sure I have the correct tailgate for my truck. Thanks. Lewis

Styleside. The 8ft is longer. I know as I have put a 6ft gate on to the back on a 8ft and there was a difference. I'll look up the measurements tomorrow. -4speed

I will have a parts 59 in a week or so, Has a good hood, Not sure on tailgate but most all is there less fenders...Took them for my truck, dorrs are ok

it has a 8' bed too, plus my 8' bed...2 long frames,

I have a 60 hood as well

I thought the Styleside 6' and 8' used the same tailgate

Try U&I Auto and Truck Parts in San Bernardino, CA. I was ther a week ago and saw 5 or 6 57-60 trucks, all with hoods, also saw 2 short boxes(6') on the loose.
