1970 F-250 Wiring Harness

Hey all! FINALLY talked the wife into getting a pickup, and its a FORD!!! Can you belive i almost bought a chevy luv!? (i was temporarilly blinded by, uh,..... now that i think about it, what was i thinking?!!! Its ALWAYS been ford!)

Anyways, i've been lurking here for a while a decided to register. My truck is a 1970 F-250 with the 360. Just finished rebuilding the carb and fixing the vacuum leak so now it runs and shifts (auto- C-6 ?) like a champ. On to the next problem- some yahoo in the past wired in extra lights in the front and back. They had something grounded because it melted a wire in the main wiring harness (the wire WAS green). It got so hot that it also melted into a couple of other wires and i think this is the cause of my problem- the radio and gauges dont work. Everything else works great- all the lights, dash light, ignition, fan/heater, etc. The only thing affected is the gas, temp, oil pressure, and alt. gauges. So does anyone have a wiring harness they would sell me? Or any other suggestions!?? Thanks guys!!

dug.
