Transfer Case

I am finishing mapping out my transmission swap from an M5-OD to a ZF. I don't remember which T-case I have, the 13-45 or 13-56. I was wondering if these are interchangeable? Do these two have the same bolt pattern and input shaft? Hopefully these two tranny's used the same T-case. Is this true?

Also, as a side note, what are the gear ratio's of the ZF?

OK, 1345 vs. 1356, here we go: Looking at my '91 Ford/Helm shop manual, here the really helpful difference I've spotted: the 1345 has an aluminum case, the 1356, magnesium.
I guess a magnet is out of the question, use a Zippo and see which case burns!
Seriously, the '56 has the 4wd indicator switch one the front drive side; the '45, on the rear.
I'm willing to bet they all directly interchange.

Yep, the 1356 (both electric and manual) and 1345 are directly interchangable. Ford used the 1345 in a shortage of 1356's(I think)
